Paper-trading battery

A 1 MW / 2 MWh battery that every day picks its charge and discharge hours from the forecast frozen before the auction, settled at the real auction prices. It cannot be re-run with hindsight: each day is recorded once.

…

One cycle a day, 88% round trip, no fees or degradation: a fair comparison of forecasts, not a revenue promise.

How every product is built

01

Public, dated data

Prices, filings and match events come from named public sources, and each value is used only from the day it was published.

02

Baselines first

Every model is scored against a simple benchmark such as no change, persistence or the index, on data it never saw.

03

Limits stated

Backtests are labelled retrospective, survivorship and revisions are disclosed, and nothing here is investment advice.
