Terms of use
Last updated: 27 October 2026
These terms apply when you use nordshifts.com, its tools and its data API. By using the site you accept them.
The service
NordShifts publishes electricity market data, forecasts, research and analysis of listed companies for information. It is operated by NordShifts, run by Girts Liepins, Riga, Latvia ([email protected]).
The site is offered as it is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not promise that it is free of errors, complete or always online.
No advice
Nothing on the site is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, or an offer to buy or sell anything. See the disclaimer for what the forecasts and backtests can and cannot tell you.
Data and sources
Market data comes from third parties, including ENTSO-E, Nord Pool, Energinet, the Baltic transmission system operators, weather services and financial-data providers. Their figures may be delayed, revised or wrong, and their own licence terms apply. Prices are shown for information with the attribution each source requires.
Your use
You may use the pages and tools for your own purposes. Do not overload the site, scrape it at high volume, try to get around access limits, or present its content as your own. Quoting figures with a link to the source page is welcome.
Data API
API keys are issued to an organisation and must be kept secret. Usage limits depend on the plan agreed with you. We may suspend a key that is shared, abused or puts the service at risk. Paid plans are governed by the written agreement or quote you accepted, which takes precedence over these terms where they differ.
Consulting and analysis packages
Analysis packages and project work start only after you approve a written quote that states the scope, the data, the price and the notice period. Until then nothing is owed.
Intellectual property
The site's text, design, code, models and analysis belong to NordShifts unless stated otherwise. Third-party data stays the property of its owners.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, NordShifts is not liable for losses that come from relying on the site, its data or its forecasts, or from the site being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia, and disputes go to the courts of Latvia, unless consumer law in your country gives you other rights. We may update the terms; the date above shows the current version.
