Every forecast is a model's estimate with a range around it. Prices often land outside the central estimate and sometimes outside the range. The site publishes how each model has done against a simple no-change benchmark, including where the models do not beat it.

Backtests replay a model on past data. They leave out real trading costs, liquidity, taxes and the mistakes people make, and past performance does not predict future returns.

NordShifts is not an electricity supplier. Exchange prices exclude grid tariffs, supplier margin, taxes and VAT. Moving electricity use to cheaper hours lowers a bill only on a contract that follows the exchange price. Battery, PPA and investment screens are first estimates with stated assumptions, not a basis for an investment decision on their own.

Figures from public sources and data providers are passed on as received and may contain errors or delays. Company figures read from annual and quarterly reports are checked against the original documents where possible; the report itself is the authoritative source.
