Grid and clean energy
Battery storage screener for the Nordic and Baltic zones
Where does a grid battery earn the most? Each zone's revenue per MW from day-ahead trading and balancing reserves, year by year since 2023, and the project returns that follow from your costs.
No public Baltic reserve-capacity price feed was found; enter an assumed price to include reserves for EE, LV and LT.
Revenue per MW, latest year
Annualised from the latest year in the data. Arbitrage is the hindsight-optimal day-ahead schedule (with an 8 EUR/MWh wear cost) times the share our next-day forecasts actually captured. Reserves sell the full MW in the best-paid product each hour. The stack takes the better of the two each day, so the same MW is never sold twice.
