Carbon intensity of electricity per hour and zone

How clean is the electricity right now, and when will it be cleanest? Hourly intensity from the generation mix, counting imports, a next-day forecast for carbon-aware scheduling, and monthly figures for emissions reporting.

Emission factors

kg CO₂ per MWh generated. Direct counts combustion only; life-cycle uses IPCC AR5 medians where available. Averages: individual plants differ. Swedish 'other' generation is treated as mostly biomass and waste CHP.

Production-based intensity weights each source's output by its emission factor. Consumption-based intensity adds imports at the neighbouring zone's intensity (one step of flow tracing; zones outside the platform use fixed annual averages: Poland 650, Germany 350, the Netherlands 300, Great Britain 180 g/kWh).
